100% Beeswax & Soy

Here at Bratins Place, we use a dark rich Beeswax that is produced by Beekeepers in Ontario.

When beeswax candles burn, they clean the air like a great, natural, air purifier. Just like beeswax produces negative ions when burned. These negative ions attach to positive ions (like dust, pollen, mold, odor, and toxins) floating in the air and this process cleans the air.

It has a wonderful honey aroma.

100% Soy Candles

Why did we choose to use Soy for our hand-poured candles?

Soy wax is made from soybeans, which are grown for many purposes and are an extremely plentiful resource. After the beans are collected, cleaned cracked, and rolled into flakes.

Soy wax will extend the lives of your candles since it generally burns longer than paraffin candles.

Since soy wax candles are generally more expensive than other waxes, the longer burn times help offset the extra cost.

Soy wax will produce less smoke, which will help ease anyone who is sensitive to candle smoke.

Since soy wax burns cleaner the air will be safer for everyone, especially for the elderly and younger children.

Fragrances

All our fragrances are Paraben free and do not contain any of the Phthlates which are considered harmful. All of our fragrances are considered Vegan. As they do not contain "carrier" oils they will last for many years although the characteristics of the fragrance can change.
