When we are hurt our first instinct can be to react. Stopping yourself and allowing yourself to think before you speak from the heart, not the head can be beneficial for both. Remember that you need to treat yourself the same! Don't be so hard on yourself and take the time that you need to do what needs to be done so that there can be a conversation without hurtful words. It's ok to walk away until you are ready to say what you need to say or sometimes there is nothing that can be said and you need to let it go. Releasing is so much healthier than holding on. Your time and your energy are very important!
